Things About Other Things
Where I let it all out.

As the seasons change, for me, so does the music.
Fall is officially here. This morning I woke up and I was freezing. In boxers and a t shirt I thought I was going into shock so I threw on a flannel and sweatpants, plus my slippers. I looked outside and saw bits of frost on the window, and the trees are slowly turning those brilliant colors. But something was wrong. Playing on my ipod was Wiz Khalifa's new album, Deal or No Deal. It wasn't fitting. Depending on my mood and the time, I have music for every occasion. When fall comes, that means bonfires, relaxing with friends and going hiking on crisp cool afternoons. But rapping about getting women and making money just doesn't seem fitting. Acoustic music and rock simply sound better to me. Jack Johnson, Train and Dispatch fill my playlists right now. I want to relax and have fun with friends, and this seems like fitting music. Everybody has different taste, but I love all kinds of music for all kinds of occasions. But mind you, there is no Justin Beiber on my ipod. Ever. Or any prepubescent boys for that matter. Just to make sure we are clear.
